About Aussiedoodles
Aussiedoodles are a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a poodle.
This cross is a very smart, easy to train, low to no shedding dog.
They are also extremely cute, fluffy, and come in a variety of colors!
About Our Aussiedoodles
Our Aussiedoodles come in all sizes and colors,
their coats are like Bunny fur, low to no shed, I'm thrilled
Reservations are HIGHLY recommended
Aussiedoodle's are extremely smart!! Love everyone and So Easy to train ,
Australian Shepherds are typically very loyal,
dogs that will follow you to the ends of the earth
I used to raise and train them for herding and obedience ,along with Border collies,
the differences between Aussie's and Border collie are like nite and day,
as i like to say the "AUSSIE has a OFF switch",,:the Border Collie will work itself to deathO)
Meaning Aussie's are just as happy laying at your feet
as going out and playing ball,,or any other "job" you choose for them.
Basic training is essential though, they are too smart for words
and either you train them or they will find their own job,
which in some cases isn't such a good thing,, :O)
Health Note, I have notice that the Aussiedoodle ear carriage is
typically higher then the Labradoodle or Goldendoodles
This resists their getting ear infections,
Also Growth issues such as Hip Dysplasia
are typically lower in Aust,Shepherds and Poodles. Hence few growth issues
Our Mini Aussiedoodle puppies are expected to mature
between 25 and 40 pounds, 14 to 17" at the shoulder. A perfect size!
We do NOT artificial Inseminate,
I did NOT do this 20yrs ago when i bred MINI Australian Shepherds,
I didn't have the Luxury of outcrossing to another smaller breed then
and I cant see breeding in problems in the Aussiedoodles,by doing it now.
When I bred mini Australian Shepherds ,we bred smaller to smaller ,avg size ended up
14" and 20-30lbs .This Policy is also working well in our Mini Labradoodles
although they will not be as small as our Aussiedoodles!! :O)
I do have Toy Aussiedoodles occassionally
Australian Shepherds come in All 3 Sizes
Toy, Miniature & Standard Sizes as do Poodles
Doodlesville Only Breeds Mini/Medium and Medium/Standard
I have YET to see a Labrador or Golden Retriever In Smaller Sizes!!! :O)

The Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherds (Aussies) can have a severe reaction to Ivermectin which is in many of the Heartworm Medications. Interceptor is the only safe (so far) Heartworm Medication for Aussies, Collies, Border Collies and many other breeds.

I am sure there are many aussiedoodle breeders out there...after 2 yrs of research I decided Nancy @ Doodlesville was the best for our family. My little pumpkin, "Armani" is going to be 18 wks old, 17 lbs, and is the best dog I have owned to date (and I come from a family of dog & horse breeders...). He is already housebroken, knows sit, down, roll, dance, crawl, and many other words as well... He is just a sponge for knowledge. He loves to travel with us already & will be taking his first airplane ride in the 1st class cabin on my lap in 2 wks! Already, he is the most famous dog in our Towson, MD area for his manners & loveable nature.

IMPORTANT
We HIGHLY recommend
Interceptor Heartworm Preventive for all our dogs!!!,
Some Dogs are more sensitive then other breeds,
Herding dogs Can be sensitive to Ivermectin,
as well as other prescribed Meds!!!
It is VERY important to NOT give Heartgard!! .
Please Be Aware of this &
make your Vet aware that you know it as well
There is really no need for Testing,
this is pretty much general Knowledge,
about the herding dog breeds for sure!
