Aussiedoodles,,I'm thrilled with this cross, thus far most are low to no shed and their coats feel like bunny fur, they are extremely intelligent and wanting to please
As responsible breeders, we are careful to ensure that our dogs are healthy and free from inherited diseases prior to breeding.
If you purchase one of our pups, we ask to be notified of any and all health or behavioral issues you encounter, when you encounter them,(when they begin happening) as well as the all the good things.
Our Contract covers your puppy for the first 2years of their life against defects that your vet and ours believe will seriously affect the quality of your puppy's life. All our pups are sold with a "Spay/Neuter Contract." We do not sell pups for breeding, the pups should be altered between 5-6mths old we must receive confirmation of this by the time the pup is 6mths of age
If for any reason and at any time you decide you cannot to keep your Doodle, we ask that you contact us and we will either ask that you return the dog to us or we will assist you in finding it a new home. We do not want any of our dogs to ever end up in a shelter,or worse !
General Doodle Info
DOODLES AND ALLERGYS
Although Some Doodles do not cause allergic reactions,
No Breeder can guarantee you a allergy friendly Non-shedding Doodle, No Matter what the Generation,!!Please do not allow them to tell you any different!!!
Therefore it is important that all of our puppies are placed in homes where allergy/asthma is controlled by Medicines and folks that are prepared to do what ever it takes to KEEP the pup if you were to have a allergic reaction, or open to take Allergy medicines in order to keep your pup no matter what!!!
I want all my pups to go to lifetime homes If you or a family member has serious allergy issues, you may want to consider getting tested ,if you are allergic to dander, can that be controlled by medicine?/Shots?,
if it is saliva then you could be hard pressed to find a breed you would be able to live with.
It is impossible to test your allergy response with our puppies or breeding dogs, because dander is present any place you go here.,Our dogs live in the house with us.
We do suggest that you meet as many Doodles as you can and we can direct you to prior owners who would just love to show off their dogs. But Most of All we suggest you go to your Dr and be tested for dog allergies Before you a get a puppy. are you allergic to dander? to Saliva? how severe? would a reaction cause you to have to rehome a puppy? if so please do not choose a doodle! its not fair to the puppy.
However each and every doodle is different,It all depends on where the genes fall in each puppy in each litter
there is no way to "test" by send hair or saliva samples to you, for the simple fact that the puppy coat is different from what the adult coat will be,
if you are allergic to saliva ,I would recommend a female ,, females are lower in PH levels,
COAT TYPES
Doodles can have a wide variety of coats. Some may need little brushing and grooming, others may need almost daily care. Some may have the continuous hair growth typical of a Poodle (or human) so they will need cutting or trimming every 2-3 months.
There is even a difference between the puppy coat and the adult coat and the transition usually occurs from 8-12 months of age. Sometimes this transition is accompanied by moderate matting and will require a more grooming daily. We recommend a teddy bear cut 2-3inches all over, this is a scissor cut only,(not clippers ,a shaved down doodle is not a pretty site, :-) ),,If you choose this cut is important to find a master Groomer in your area that is experienced in scissoring a dog, This will make your Doodle look like a puppy all the time, its a really cute cut!!
Hair Coat. All are different, Most Aussiedoodles and Goldendoodles are wavy coated and low to no shed but Because an F1 is 50%Poodle, there may be light to moderate shedding, although some may not shed at all. Doodle litters are a mixed bag. Some may require heavy grooming as they mature, others may not. They are NOT recommended for severe allergy or asthma sufferers.
In our observations : F1 Goldendoodles/Aussiedoodles, are good choices in homes with allergy issues.
But Please we want all our Puppies to go to lifetime homes no matter what, you must be prepared to do whatever it takes to Keep your Doodlesville Doodle puppy, allergy issues or not.
